Chris Wood Lets it Slip at the Welsh Open
Chris Wood talked of his disappointment at the final day of Wentworth when he dropped two shots and let the lead get beyond his grasp. As of Thursday 3rd he led in the Wales Open by one shot over Dodt having hit six birdies in his first round on the Twenty Ten course, and stated his determination to not throw it away again.

"I led by two shots in the pretty much the biggest event on the European Tour all season against one of the best fields all season, having to deal with the pressure of leading, certainly going into the last day, I've never had that".
He went on to say that the experience has strengthened him, and that it is "certainly going to help (him) the next time it happens". He is currently two under and nine behind leader Siem.
