Christmas Wishes
The Big Day is nearly here. Everyone has checked his or her list twice and has fingers crossed.
scotland on sunday newspaper has published its list of wishes for golfdom and it's a cute one.
Give it a read.
Here is my own list of five and it goes out to every fellow duffer on the planet.
1. That shiny new driver which promises 20 more yards off the tee actually delivers.
2. The golf balls your significant non-golfing other gave you are EXACTLY the ones you wanted and will complement that new driver perfectly.
3. Your golf wardrobe can handle one more season without making you look completely foolish thereby allowing you to spend your money on more golf balls.
4. Green fees in your part of the world plummet in a bid to attract business.
5. And lastly, spring arrives weeks early thanks to global warming, courses re-open in top shape and you discover your swing is damn near perfect.
