Clubs Fit For Kids

Frank Thomas has a very appropriate newsletter this week. And it comes on the heels of the two-part interview with club designer and custom builder, Tom Wishon here on eagleparbirdie.com.
Frank answers a question about whether a father can give his daughter the same clubs his sons played with but outgrew.
What's appropriate is that it goes to heart of what Wishon said about the importance of being fitted with clubs that are suited to a person's swing, whether that person is 7 or 77, male or female.
Frank agrees, in effect, when he recommends taking full advantage of the vast improvement in kids' clubs and fitting techniques for kids.
And the two men are also on the same page when it comes to recognizing how much the manufacturers play on our desires for more and more length.
As usual, Thomas is right on the money.
