Dave Pelz Wedges Coming

Dave Pelz is getting back into the club making business.
Pelz, of course, is that big bear of a guy who has made a very comfortable living by dominating the niche short-game market.
His books, Dave Pelz Short Game Bible and Dave Pelz Putting Bible grace my bookshelves and those of thousands of other golfers.
His nerdy looking training aids aren't widely available in stores, are rarely advertised on TV but seem to get results.
He's the man who teaches that there are four swings for each wedge in your bag based on the face of a clock. Depending on your distance to the green, there is a Dave Pelz swing that will deliver the ball close to the hole. Many pros swear by his methods, chief among them Phil Mickelson.
And when you're on the green, Pelz will mystify you with statistics on why putts of various lengths drop or don't drop.
In short, ahem, he is the master of that part of the game played from 120 yards in.
And now, he's joining up with Bobby Jones Golf to design a line of wedges.
In the early 1980s, Pelz designed a set of featherlite clubs when that manufacturing technique was hot (for about 3 years as I recall).
But he got out of the manufacturing business and returned to what he felt he knew best: teaching the whys and wherefores of the short game.
So his return to manufacturing is highly appropriate this time; he's designing just wedges, putting all his years of knowledge of the short game into a club head.
I think Bobby Jones Golf is lucky to have him.
Please tell me where ti get the new wedges.
Richard – Start looking in all the top golf shops in your area! They may be a few months away from appearing but your local golf store should have a good idea about delivery. You can always email Bobby Jones Golf directly. I’m sure they’ll respond quickly to your question.
