This blog site is "equipped" to permit Google, that omnipresent monetizer of the internet, to place ads on the URL known as eagleparbirdie.com.
For the past couple of days, an ad for a PC-based hunting game has been appearing.
I find it offensive but am powerless to do much about it since I don't actually OWN the blogsite - it's owned by Creative Weblogging in California.
I object to my golf site being used to promote hunting in any fashion - even as a video game.
Perhaps I'm too touchy but hunting, guns and killing are not my thing.
All three of the above have got a lot of people in a heap of trouble for a long, long time - unless you're the V.P of the U.S.A. Then you can get away with a slip of the (trigger) finger by simply apologizing to your victim.
No, my idea of the great outdoors is teeing it up on a golf course where deer might be spotted but not hunted and where the only shots heard are off the face of a driver.
If that makes me a sissy, then I dare any hunter to try and break 90 on a regular basis.
Just wanted to go on record.
