Golf In Ireland

The other day, I wrote a post about traveling to Scotland to play in the land from whence the game came.

If you checked the tour company's website, you would have discovered that one of the first stops on that fabulous tour was not Scotland but, in fact, Ireland.

Coincidentally, I discovered a fellow Canadian golf blogger who spent a week playing golf in Ireland at various locations.

His name is Robert Thompson and he writes for the Ontario Golf Association here in Canada.

It's a five-part series that provides a first-hand view of golf in the Emerald Isle.

Worth a read!

Thanks for the kind nod to the series I did on Ireland. I don’t actually write for Ontario Golf Association — more for Ontario Golf magazine, and Score. That’s neither here nor there.

    Thanks for the kind remarks.

I am always wondering what exactly it is about playing golf in Scotland over Ireland … I have played 3 major courses in Scotland and get a different feeling than playing in Ireland but can’t put my finger on it. Any Thoughts?
