Grass Seeds: Bemuda is My Favorite

You'd think in the world of golf that people would understand the importance of good grass seeds.

I've played on a few good courses recently. I prefer Bermuda grass (Cynodon dactylon ) because it has a nice consistency and is drought resistant. You know how the ball is going to play. The grass won't be much different next week than it was last week. You get the idea. Not many other grasses have those characteristics.

In my opinion, golf is about the experience. Let's face it, I'll never play with pros. I play golf to relax and unwind. It helps me work off a few pounds and stay in shape. But if I can't relax when I do that, then the stress I carry around with me may kill me regardless of how much I weigh or how good my physical condition is.

Good grass has a calming effect, I think.
