Carl Spackler, aka, Bill Murray

Hollywood loves golf. They've made a movie or two about it.
And Hollywood actors love golf, too. Kevin Costner, James Garner, Jack Lemmon, Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Clint Eastwood and new guys like Matt Damon all play or played it.
Hey, let's not forget Bill Murray.
Ah, Bill Murray, always a delight to see in action during the ATT Pebble Beach Pro-Am as he waltzes along the course entertaining fans behind the ropes with his antics.
"Caddyshack" in which Murray played the whacked-out greenskeeper, Carl Spackler, is far and away the funniest golf movie ever made; I would go so far as to rank it as the second funniest movie of any kind made - after "The Party".
Murray would be an entertaining playing partner, to say the least.
And I'll bet his recent playing partners in Stockholm think so, too.
It seems Murray was stopped after a golf tournament by Stockholm police while driving a golf cart through the Swedish capital under the influence.
He drove slowly, according to police, and appeared to have alcohol on his breath.
There are no reports that he had a dead gopher around his neck at the time...
