Canadian golf magazine, Score, has an audio interview with Mike Weir on its site. The magazine likes to follow Canadians on the tour, naturally, but Weir is international in profile.

He won the 2003 Masters, went through a fallow period in the following years and has now begun to climb back to the top of the game.

His recent swing changes in which he adopted Mike Bennett and Andy Plummer's theories known as Stack and Tilt appear to be paying off.

Weir has an excellent short game, is a good if not great putter and with his renewed confidence in his long game, will be a contender this season.

In fact, he demonstrated how far his game had come last year at the President's Cup; he was the winningest member of the International team and beat Tiger Woods in head to head play on Sunday. He then went on to capture the Fry's Electronics Open late in the season.

More recently, Weir was in contention at the Sony Open, leading on Sunday before dropping a couple of shots and finishing fourth.

You can listen to the interview here.
