Ever heard of Lethbridge, Alberta?

Well, Lethbridge is in the heart of Cowboy Country in Canada's west. Alberta is nestled between British Columbia to the west and Saskatchewan to the east.

The city of Lethbridge is just north of the Montana/Alberta border, about 70 miles or so.

The Badlands of Alberta have been an archeologist's dream, revealing enough dinosaur bones and skeletons to fill several museums.

This ancient land is also where you can play some of the best golf in North America, possibly the world.

Paradise Canyon Golf and Country Club will knock you dead. Just take a look at the pictures on their site.

Golf Digest has described Paradise Canyon as "one of the best places to play".

This spectacular layout has Old Man River along one boundary, the tall cliffs of Paradise Canyon all around the course and rolling fairways that stretch off to the horizon.

From the back tees, Paradise Canyon measures out to just over 6800 yards. From the blues, 6400. There are two sets of forward tees: the whites measure at 5800 yards, the golds at just over 5200 yards.

So here is a course length that is perfect for long hitters or juniors and everyone in between.

Club pro, Mike Fleischhaur says "this golf course is extremely friendly but to ensure that you have the most enjoyment, pick the right tees for your ability".

Wind is a factor on the course, he says. "On number 12, you've got a 143 yard, par 3. Depending on the wind, the hole can require anything from a pitching wedge to a 4 iron".

Great!! A challenge!!

As they say on TV, "But, wait! There's more!"

Paradise Canyon is also a participating member of RCI, Resort Condominiums International.

So, if you're an RCI member, hey, you have a holiday destination right on the course.

If you're not an RCI member, you can still stay and play. More on that in a moment.

Lethbridge, itself, has lots of hotels and motels as well as restaurants to suit every taste.

And the surrounding area is breathtaking. Three national parks, three renowned museums, and several World Heritage Sites mean there's plenty to do when you're not firing birdies on the Paradise Canyon layout!

In keeping with our desire to find you the best resort courses at the best prices, we believe Paradise Canyon does not come up short.

Last season, you could play 18 holes for $55 CDN! Unbelievable but true! Stay and play packages were quoted at $139 CDN which included one night in a golf villa, a round of golf, power cart and full use of the practice range.

Fly into Calgary, head southeast for 136 miles and you're there. Piece of cake.

Paradise Canyon Golf and Country Club. Memorize that name!
