Okay. Here is the last word, I think, on Stack and Tilt. And it comes from Geoff Shackelford's fine golf blog.
Stack and Tilt certainly caught Geoff's eye - he has even selected the same picture I have been running (for lack of anything more illustrative).
He asks his readers what they think of this new Swing theory expounded by the creators in Golf Digest's June issue and the comments came back thick and fast (including yours truly who didn't offer anything that he hasn't written about here first).
Some like Stack and Tilt; some don't. Some recognize similarities to other swing methods and one reader, God bless him, said he would try anything, given how he plays.
There is an honest golfer, believe me.
What do YOU think of Stack and Tilt? Post some comments and let me know!

I started to use the stack and tilt method a couple of weeks ago and shot my best score in a long time, 74 at Blue Ash from the black tees. For me it simplified many swing flaws I might have had. My ball striking was much improved and gained accuracy with all my clubs. With any swing changes time will tell if I can stay consistent but for right now it is amazing. Scores are averaging 4 shots better than before with more solid contact. It is without question a simplified way to swing. Would teach it to beginners as the first method.

I love stack & tilt for Irons, not for driver! Pushes to right field with Driver.

I am an 8 index an been working with a pro for the past two summers with no improvement. Very frustrating.
Weight transfer and follow through have always been my issues.
This swing eliminates the first and makes the second a natural movement.
I played the last three round of this year using the stack and tilt with no practice, off of my club's back tees and in windy conditions.
I have a bad left hip and have lost overall mobility.
My Chiro has no problem with the swing and he services Canadian Olympians.
To reiterate. I shot my handicap using it with no practice. just an index card summarizing the swing in my pocket.
I'm convinced.
At my winter golf schools all the crusty old pros look at me like I have three eyes but I have caught them trying it.
I hit my drives well and my short game works very well with this.
Its much simpler. The article in Golf Digest is all you really need and it makes sense.
Just try it.
The only hint is to really watch your tempo as it tends to speed the swing up.

I have been teaching for over 25 years. The stack and tilt has been around for a while just not known as such. The biggest problem for most golfers is getting the weight to the right side on the down swing. I have been uing almost the same type of swing for years and teach it also. I just got some more info on why by the Golf Digest article.If you look at most of the tour guys you will see the right leg stiff at the top of the swing.. Hogan, Couples, Demarco etc;;;

Love the stack and tilt swing, but DON'T by the video. It is a total rip off and put together very poorly.

All I did was to keep most of my weight on the front foot during my entire swing and the transformation was amazing. For me it was that simple. I've never hit the ball so straight and pure in my life. It seems so simple and repeatable.
I havent even bothered with thinking about the Tilt and Pelvic thrust etc. Maybe its happenning automatically or maybe thats all I needed out of this Stack and Tilt theory. Who cares, as long as the ball is going where I want it to.

Nidus, I believe you've hit the nail squarely on the head when you say "as long as the ball is going where I want it to", it doesn't matter if you have the correct degree of tilt or start the downswing with the hips thrusting forward. In fact, virtually all the comments I've received about Stack and Tilt all have one thing in common: how easy the swing is to perform and repeat shot after shot. Perhaps, being human, we strive to make something easy as difficult as possible. Even Bennett and Plummer might be too caught up in that game, too.

What can I say about the stack and tilt golf swing? I can say it worked wonders for my game. Since switching to the stack and tilt my fat shots and duffs have vanished. I am striking my irons crisply and gained 5 - 10 yards, with good trajectery and spin to hold greens. Believe it or not it improved my scores by at least 10 strokes per round. Now instead of 105, I'm shooting 89, would have been lower except for 4 lip outs today.
The great thing is I learned the swing in just two trips to the range, it has dramatically improved my game. For eight years I struggled with my swing, and in just 3 days my score improved by 10 strokes.
Why couldn't I have learned this swing 8 years ago. Searching for 80 with the stack and tilt.

There is a problem however with the two photos where the instructor shows a tilt to the left without the club or the ball. He is simply leaning to his left, stretching the right side of his body. Readers may get the impression that this is how they need to start the back-swing. One of the bloggers pointed out that the tilt should be towards the ball and not to the the players left. Maybe this needs to be clarified with the instructor holding club adressing the ball.
