I don't think Anna Nicole Smith ever played golf. She would have been more at home in the left-hand seat of a 42 foot Fountain offshore boat chasing across the Atlantic from Miami to Bimini for lunch than lurching along in a golf cart.
The Golf Girl, whose site is a perfectly focused piece of blogwork, has a good post linking Anna Nicole with the game. Actually, she links Anna Nicole with John Daly and argues that the two are a lot alike.
When you read her post, I think you'll agree.
Smith and Daly are two characters for whom the media cut a lot of slack.
And the golf media continues to for Big John.
Remember Happy Gilmore? Isn't that John Daly in many ways?
But in the movie, adam sandler finally grows up and takes charge of his life.
Now it doesn’t matter anymore if she ever played golf or not. She’s dead (God rest her in peace)!
