If you're a guy, then the Solheim Cup has probably slipped under your radar screen.
Yet, it probably offers more excitement than this week's final event of the FedEx Cup when we "discover" who's going to win the 10 million dollar annuity.
As if we didn't already have an inkling.
Now, if you're an avid female golfer, then you are quite likely all over the Solheim Cup.
The equivalent of the Ryder Cup, the Solheim is currently in the hands of the United States who have won it 7 times and are defending this year.
But Europe captain, Helen Alfredsson figures Team Europe can snatch it back because the contest is being played in Sweden.
Each time Europe has won, it's been on "home soil".
Quite frankly, whether it's the men or the women, when golfers play for their flags rather than just more money, there is much more emotion involved.
And it's a lot of fun to watch excited golfers.
