Tiger Woods Still Holds His Championship Golf Title

The WGC-Bridgestone Invitational held last Sunday had an interesting turn of events. With number one player in the world, Tiger Woods playing against Phil Mickelson, what the golf industry believed was the high and only contender to be the next number one player. The game which should have changed the scene in championship golf, failed to provide viewers and golf fans with an interesting ending.
Although Tiger Woods played a miserable game, Mickelson did some what worst and managed to let Woods keep his rank as number one. This week will mark the 250th week that Woods has been placed as the world's best golf player. For Mickelson, it is back to training and competing in the hope that the luck of Tiger Woods ends.
Tiger may hold this title for a while, but it’s hard to call him the favorite this weekend like some oddsmarkers are doing this week.

Its funny how time seems to change so much, but then our minds stay the same. Tiger really could have been in a bad place by now, but he seems to be putting himself back together. I never cared much about his personal life, so the recent events don’t mean much to me. I never had to like him personally, but I have always had to like him as a golfer.
