Once upon a time in Zimbabwe...
There is a fine piece in golf Digest about the state of golf in Zimbabwe.
As we know, Robert Mugabe, once a responsible leader, has taken an economy that was thriving and healthy and in a single decade has brought it to its knees.
Hpyerinflation is so bad that the monthly rate is over 230 million percent. Yes, you read that correctly.
So, it's no surprise to read in the Golf Digest story that the state of golf and golf courses in the southern African nation is abysmal.
We can only hope that Mugabe's mad reign ends very, very soon.
